11· Concrete is unique among major construction materials because it is designed specifically for particular civil engineering projects. Concrete is a composite material composed of granular materials like coarse aggregates embedded in a matrix and bound together with cement or binder which fills the space between the particles and glues them together.
Hence we go for replacement for cement. The alternate material in our project used was powdered Eggshell. In the present study, these Egg shell Powder is used as a partial replacement of cement and various properties like workability, compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength were determined.
The results show that larger replacement percentages of granite powder and crumbled tiles boost workability. Additionally, the strength of the concrete exhibited an improvement, particularly with a 30% replacement of ceramic coarse tile aggregate.
1011· In this investigation, fine aggregate was used to partially replace cement in concrete at a dosage of 0–24% by weight of cement while red mud was changed from 0–24% in the presence of 8% fine
This study consist the development and properties of concrete by partial replacement of additives, Carbon Black Powder & Calcium Sulphate, Rice Ash Husk with Cement. An attempt was made using these materials, as filler, desiccant and which imparts the enhanced properties of concrete by partial replacement of cement with different percentage ratio.
2024824· The use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) to partially replace cement in concrete production is a significant stride towards sustainable construction practices, effectively addressing
Abstract – Concrete a composite material made from cement, water, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. But present researchers are in interest of finding new cement materials by waste materials or waste products produced from industries which are harmful to environment. The present paper deals with partial replacement of cement with quarry dust and rice husk ash.
522· Mechanical strength, strength gain with curing time and durability in concrete with cement being partially replaced by industrial waste materials were analyzed. The maximum replacement of cement by silica fume and sugar cane bagasse ash is 10 % and 15% respectively. Maximum replacement of cement by rice husk ash is 25%.
Steel slag is used as a replacement of aggregate in concrete in order to reduce cost of industrial processing. They studied the physical properties and strength of concrete by partially replacing cement with Calcium bentonite in different percentages (0% …

Concrete or mortar is made up of cement, water and aggregates (coarse and fine aggregate) and sometimes the necessary admixtures. Concrete has reached the status of a major building material in all branches of modern construction. It is difficult to identify another building material as flexible as concrete.

They are also keen in maintaining its quality and strength and therefore various other materials are used as a replacement of a particular material in the making of concrete. One such material is coconut shell which can be used in concrete making by partially replacing coarse aggregate which is a very important component in concrete.
2015525· aggregate. There are lots of studies carried out to use waste material partially as ingredient. This project involve the comparative study on concrete by partially replacing the combination of waste material like rise husk ash, recycle aggregate, coconut shell ,coconut shell ash in concrete.
